Your success in daily life and in the corporate world doesn’t just depend on hard work. Most of it also depends on how likable people find you.

All things being equal, people lend a hand, make offers, promote, and do business with those they like.

An article from Harvard Business School validates the claim:

That is to say, other factors being constant, the more likable you are, the greater tendency you will succeed both in your personal as well as your career life.

You don't have to write yourself off if you feel you're not as lucky with people as most attractive are. The reason is that you can develop some of these traits that make a likable person likable and attractive to others.

There is a colleague I never thought could attract anybody. Recently, if you count the first twenty attractive people in the class, he certainly will make the first ten. Prior to this time, none of the girls agreed to go out on a date with him. Now he is in a relationship with one of the prettiest girls on the campus.

You too can become more attractive. All you need is to level up on the likability traits of attractive people. I can't tell you how much more attractive you will be but you certainly will be more attractive than you are now if you level up on these traits.
